I can't remember what this mountain is called. Maybe you can tell me? It's in the Highlands of Scotland, on the way to Ullapool. I love the way the clouds are just sitting on the top of it.

I'm 99% sure it's Suilven, in Assynt. Brilliant picture, too. I've been meaning to take some of it for years.

I think that could be it. My parents were saying something like that when we were near it. I was thinking 'Solvent?' but it seemed like a silly name for a mountain. There was another mountain nearby too, so my parents weren't sure which was which :)

The other one they're thinking of was probably Stac Polly, the two look very similar when the ridges are obscured by cloud like that. Definitely Suilven in the picture though, going by the slopes at each end.

I probably would've recognised Stac Pollaidh myself! But there was another moutain right next to this one, I wonder what that was. I think somebody mentioned it began with C. Or that part could've been my imagination and half-listening, but there was definitely another mountain nearby to this :)
